Receiving organization / Welcoming students

  • Centers

Training centres in the European Union and in the partner countries of the Erasmus+ programme interested in workplacement mobilities are able to participate and register on the platform.
  • Teachers

Multiple teachers from the same organisation can register on the platform. The first teacher to register will be the administrator and will be responsible for supporting the other teachers who use the platform.
  • Students

The platform is only aimed at teachers. So, students need to contact the Erasmus+ coordinator to start their Erasmobility adventure.

The benefits of organizing a work placement visit

No intermediary organisations

The training centre will get the benefits without operating as an intermediary organisation. The aim is to support an integrated, value for money package. For that reason, we think that the maximum amount that should be paid for this service is 350€.

New partners

If your training centre has never taken part in European projects before, perhaps the first step is to organise a work placement for an overseas training centre.  This will enable both organisations to establish a trusted partnership that will lead to an exchange in the future.

International Dimension.

When a training centre organises a work placement for an overseas training centre, it raises its profile at a European level.  The impact of working beyond a local remit is that there will be increased opportunities for engagement European projects in the future.

Cultural immersion

The opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the culture and the language of a different country thanks to the possibility of staying with a family and participating in the life of the training centre.

What do I need to do to organise work placements in my training centre?

Frequent questions

You can search for registered training centres by country and by area of specialism on the platform. Furthermore, the search engine will let you know whether the centre has active proposals or not.

No, a centre can register without creating any offers or its offers may no longer be valid.

There is a search engine that combines three fields: 1) Type of proposal 2) Specialist Area 3) The country. For example, if you want to find a training centre that will organise a workplacement for Wood and Furniture in France, use the Search function to put ‘Training centres’ on the first tab, ‘Wood and Furniture’ on the second tab and ‘France’ on the third tab.

The platform will allow you to save this centre to your Favourites and you will be able to send an email to start your communication.

This shouldn’t be a problem. We have to be realistic – training centres are very different and, to reach an agreement with training centres in other countries, we need to be flexible with each other.
